Message from Author Ichigo Sugawara

I think we become commonplace that we live in the bright world everyday. Do you think from where ae the lights coming? The answer is in Sky. Of course the electronic lights make us bright, however it cant compare with the light of sky.

So I started to take a picture sky everyday. I always think "there are sky as the Light on our usual life", taking picture sky everyday. Please look up the sky and think that there are always light in our sky and now two are ever same....



Profile of Ichigo Sugawara

Born in 1960.
After graduating from the Department of Photography, College of Art, Osaka University of Arts in 1985, studying under Mr. Osamu Hayasaki.
Then, Since I started working as a photographer in France, a number of solo exhibitions.
That as a way to capture pictures of the glare of light, studied with Mr. Motoyuki Kubo printer and photos wet plate, combine the digital technique and the latest techniques of classical picture, in recent years, we produce a new picture ever have.
In 2010, his work became the permanent collection of Museum of Photography in San Diego. Sous Les Etoile Gallery solo exhibition in New York in December 2010. Trunk Gallery solo exhibition in Seoul in March 2011. Exhibition at the Leica Ginza Salon June 2012.
